using foam like material to provide strength and stability
during the treatment of joint sprains and fractures. It is easy
to mould and absorbs moisture better. It is available sizes are

This
traditional casting material is still carried and remains useful
in the treatment of fractures that require molding, especially
in children. The Boneguard brand is of a high quality and easy

Boneguard Splint – Plaster of Paris
The
Boneguard Splint is very useful for the immobilization of
fractures associated with limb swelling. It has multiple sheets
of Plaster of Paris covered with supporting padding on either
side. It is very easy to handle and allows for adequate fracture
molding. It is available in 3, 4, and 5 inch sizes. |
